Blake is a highly motivated professional who strives to stay on top of all the latest trends in the industry to be sure that he’s able to provide his customers with the perfect buying experience. Blake was recently voted Lansing area’s #1 Auto Sales Person in the Top of the Town contest run by the City Pulse.
Blake has worked in sales his entire life. He entered the auto sector hesitantly at first, but after a year, he realized he had a talent for connecting with customers. He knew he was doing something right when he noticed repeat clients making sure to ask for him. Listen as Blake teaches us new information about vehicles while taking us on his career journey!
What is the best part of your job?
“The best part of the job is what we call the delivery. This is the part where all the paperwork is over, we walk out to your new car. I like to do a quick 20-minute walkthrough of any new features for the customer. This is always the moment you can see how happy the customer is to drive away in their new ride. Take a nice photo of the happy customer and congratulate them on their new vehicle!”
What is the worst piece of advice you have ever been given?
“Buyers are liars. I’ve always hated this phrase. To me, they aren’t lying, you just haven’t found the real objection.”
Blake Garner’s Advice:
Don’t worry about how many times you fall down as long as you get up the same amount of times you’re doing something good. Keep going!
