Beth Read is the founder and executive director of TWIGS, a non-profit organization that provides valuable assistance to cancer patients and their families.
TWIGS offers services such as transportation, housekeeping, and errands to cancer patients who require help with everyday tasks. Beth’s personal experience of caring for her mother during her pancreatic cancer battle inspired her to create this organization.
She realized that not all cancer patients have a support system as her family did, which motivated her to establish a platform where cancer patients could obtain assistance with their daily tasks.
TWIGS has partnerships with oncology social workers at Sparrow and McLaren, and the organization’s services are available in the Greater Lansing area. The services that TWIGS provides are vital to cancer patients who need someone to help them manage their daily tasks.
With TWIGS, cancer patients can focus on their treatments while the organization takes care of their daily responsibilities.
